The deployment centered on accounts receivable functions at the San Francisco headquarters and supported remote lockbox processing for wholesale billing workflows managed by the Accounts Receivables team. The Paystand B2B Payment Automation implementation used the Smart LockBox capability to digitize check intake and automate invoice matching, cash application, and bank reconciliation. The solution was configured to leverage funds on file tokenization and a branded payment portal, with payment tokens vaulted in Paystand for secure recharges and audited for PCI DSS and SSOE 1086 compliance. Operationally the Smart LockBox routes remittance data into Super7s payment environment as soon as physical checks are received, eliminating weekly in person deposit tasks and enabling same day application of payments when customers save payment details. The implementation touched billing, collections, cash application, and reconciliation workflows, and required customers to update remittance addresses to the Paystand lockbox to centralize collections. Governance and process changes included shifting deposit and cash application responsibilities away from manual controller trips to bank handling, toward a centralized, remote AR process orchestrated through Paystand. Reported benefits included streamlined AR processing, faster payment application, increased transparency across collections, and fewer cash flow bottlenecks as a result of the Smart LockBox and tokenization features.
