In 2021 Supersports implemented Mercaux Next Generation POS, a Point Of Sale application, to enable assisted selling and omnichannel checkout across its Thailand store footprint. The deployment prioritized in-store associate enablement and moving transactions to the customer side of the interaction.
The Mercaux Next Generation POS implementation configured Sales Assist, Styling and Omnichannel Payments modules to allow store associates to build omnichannel baskets and transact at the customer side. Functional workflows emphasized assisted selling and styling consultations, with payments captured through the omnichannel checkout flow within the Point Of Sale environment.
A remote pilot was launched in three weeks across selected Supersports locations in Thailand, and a positive pilot ROI prompted a wider rollout. Operational coverage focused on store associates and in-store sales operations, connecting assisted-selling interactions to ecommerce order creation.
Project outcomes reported improved in-store conversion and increased generation of ecommerce orders from stores, aligning store selling and checkout to omnichannel commerce objectives.
