Configuration prioritized role-based access controls and alignment with Swan's five-year business applications roadmap, with business analysts translating HR policy into system configuration and automated workflows.
Programme architecture established operational ownership across HR and IT, with day-to-day application support delivered by the applications support and project teams. The deployment covered Swan Housing Group operations in the United Kingdom and supported transactional HR processing, personnel administration and management information flows. Programme notes reference co-delivery with Clearview and Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online as part of the same applications programme.
Governance followed a Prince2 project lifecycle with internal finance gates, supplier account management and regular reporting to senior management and the board. Change control and rollout sequencing were managed by the project and business analysis teams, and ongoing portfolio reviews were used to align the HRIS to the corporate ICT strategy. The MRI Horizon deployment operated alongside other enterprise systems actively supported by Swan’s IT helpdesk, including Microsoft Office 365, Hornbill Supportworks ticketing, Civica contact management, Sun Systems accounting, Soprano accounting, iTrent payroll and Firmstep customer service workflows. Operational ownership included the service desk and first and second line IT support, which logged incidents and maintained SLA-driven resolution processes using Hornbill Supportworks.
Governance and operational process adjustments emphasized ticketing discipline and cross-application support, with the IT team administering user provisioning, OS updates and Office 365 migrations while supporting property management users. The implementation anchored property management functions within MRI Horizon and established centralized records and workflow controls for Swan Housing Group’s housing operations.
