In 2020, Swee Choon implemented MegaPOS POS to introduce contactless QR digital ordering across its Singapore restaurants. MegaPOS POS is a Point Of Sale application deployed to manage large queues, increase table turnover and reduce front-of-house ordering tasks within the companys F&B operations.
The implementation emphasized contactless and QR-driven ordering workflows, digital order capture at the table, queuing controls to manage peak demand, and table-turn management capabilities. Configuration focused on streamlining order entry and processing to allow staff to reallocate time from order taking to order fulfillment and floor service.
Operational coverage concentrated on Swee Choons Singapore restaurant locations and the F&B operations process area. Governance and new operating procedures were established around QR ordering protocols, queue monitoring, and staff task reallocation to support higher volume periods and reduced counter interactions.
As described in MegaPOSs customer success write-up, the MegaPOS POS deployment helped the chain process high order volumes more efficiently and lower manpower dependency.
