Prior to adopting Bill.com the team used ACH and bank wires to manage cross border payments, and the platform was used to make payments in local currencies and retain supporting documentation for each transaction. Governance changes established multi tiered approvals by department and dollar value, reducing manual handoffs and accelerating payment cadence so vendors are paid regularly and on time. The controller reported that automation removed labor intensive tasks and allowed the team to avoid headcount increases, and the company realized lower friction on international payments through competitive exchange handling and elimination of wire transfer administrative steps.
