In 1994 TAMF selected Blackbaud Fundware to manage complex endowments and approximately 5,000 separate accounts. The deployment established Blackbaud Fundware as the primary Non Profit ERP supporting foundation and endowed fund accounting, explicitly addressing scholarship, chair, and departmental fund stewardship. The implementation centered on fund and accounting modules, allocation management, and reporting capabilities. Blackbaud Fundware was configured to enforce allocation rules and manage multi-account distributions, and reporting workflows were structured to produce fund-level financials and stewardship reports required by foundation finance and development functions. Rollout focused on standardizing fund accounting and reporting processes for foundation finance and scholarship administration, with governance designed to control allocations and reporting responsibilities. The project delivered the advanced allocation and reporting features that TAMF required for endowed fund accounting, embedding Blackbaud Fundware into the organizations core foundation accounting and stewardship processes.
