In 2012 The Bottle-O Redwood New Zealand implemented Today POSperfect in the Point Of Sale category to support combined bottle-store and tavern operations. The deployment leveraged POSperfect hospitality and liquor-store capabilities in New Zealand and was configured to align point of sale transactions with local tavern table workflows and bottle-store retail tills.
Implementation used POSperfect's restaurant/hospitality and stock-control modules to provide table management, split-billing and integrated liquor stock controls. The Bottle-O Redwood configured Today POSperfect to handle hospitality billing scenarios alongside retail checkout, and to manage liquor inventory controls and promotion handling within the same Point Of Sale application.
The solution was integrated with The Bottle-O national database to enable scan-out stock transfers between bottle store and tavern and to synchronize inventory and promotion data across sites. Operational scope focused on retail and hospitality business functions, specifically stock control and promotion management, and the configuration standardized scan-out transfer workflows between the two site types, improving stock visibility and promotion coordination.
