PAX Technology Legacy PAX Mobile POS Point Of Sale ERP Services and Operations Suomen Rakennuskone 2019 2019
In 2019, The Edinburgh International Book Festival deployed PAX Mobile POS devices as its Point Of Sale solution. The festival used PAX A920 mobile POS hardware from PAX Technology running Smart Volution's Register software, which was integrated with BookSolve to process sales at festival stalls across the UK. PAX Mobile POS was implemented as a retail and event payments solution, configured to capture transactions at multiple temporary stall locations and to synchronize sales records with BookSolve for sales and stock tracking. Functional capabilities included card present payments on PAX A920 terminals, on device transaction processing through Register, and sales consolidation in BookSolve for inventory control and reporting. Deployment was executed with implementation support from Suomen Rakennuskone, covering onsite rollout to festival retail operations and staff facing configuration for faster customer interactions. Governance focused on point of sale operational workflows and session handling for seasonal event retail, integrating device level payments, Register software transaction logs and BookSolve stock synchronization to reduce queues and improve staff customer engagement.
