| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics GP | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2010 | 2010 |
In 2010, The Football Association implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP. The deployment focused on core financial processing under the ERP Financial category, with explicit capabilities for invoice generation, statement pack distribution, batch reconciliation and accounts processing to support membership and commercial activities.
Configuration and functional modules implemented included invoice generation workflows, reconciliation routines for incoming batches, and audit-oriented controls aligned to membership billing. The implementation captured change requests arising from new product billing models, and the team managed end to end testing and User Acceptance Testing for finance flows, with Microsoft Dynamics GP serving as the system of record for financial transactions.
Integrations were centered on reconciliation of invoices and batches from MS Dynamics CRM into Microsoft Dynamics GP, and delivery required coordination with 3rd party developers, an internal portal team and the CRM development team. Operational coverage spanned finance, sales, operations, IT and marketing stakeholders as part of a multidisciplinary programme supporting the Club Wembley membership renewal initiative and related membership products.
Program governance included weekly project status reporting to stakeholders, chaired weekly prioritisation meetings to manage backlog and new requirements, independent quality checks ahead of formal testing cycles and direct management of UAT. Related programme work for learning systems included large scale data recovery and cleansing activities, notably importing more than 70K missing records and authoring an automated de duplication process specification that produced a significant time saving of approximately 30 minutes per record.

| Zellis | Legacy | Zellis HCM Cloud | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015 The Football Association implemented Zellis HCM Cloud as its Core HR system. The deployment targeted central HR operations for an organisation of approximately 1,162 employees, establishing Zellis HCM Cloud as the authoritative source for employee records, onboarding and manager-facing HR workflows.
The implementation configured Core HR functional modules for employee lifecycle management, structured onboarding through offer to probationary review, recruitment campaign tracking, absence management and performance development reporting. Learning and development recordkeeping and recruitment workflow capabilities were provisioned to reflect existing practices for coordinating training activities, preparing new entrant paperwork and maintaining online performance development records.
Operational integrations were aligned with payroll and HR administrative processes, with configuration to support payroll input flows and liaison between HR and the payroll department. Historical HR tools referenced in internal process notes include Resourcelink and Snowdrop for payroll and HR database functions, and Zellis HCM Cloud was positioned to consolidate employee master data while interoperating with established payroll processing procedures.
Governance and process changes focused on enabling manager self-service for recruitment and back to work interviews, producing standardized reports for the HR Director such as sickness absence and L&D statistics, and enforcing record retention for training and probation reviews. The rollout emphasized role-based access and structured workflows to support HR coordinators, HR business partners and line managers in operationalizing recruitment, onboarding, performance and payroll handoffs.
