In 2013 The Regus Group APAC implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial system to support the corporate finance planning and analysis function. The deployment context emphasized management reporting and regulatory consolidation workflows across the APAC finance organization, aligning the Infor SunSystems implementation with financial planning and consolidated reporting responsibilities.
The implementation architecture combined Infor SunSystems with an existing Hyperion stack, leveraging Hyperion Essbase and Planning 11x for management budgeting and reporting, and HFM 11x together with FDQM and Financial Reporting for consolidation and regulatory outputs. ODI and MS SQL were used for ETL and data staging, enabling automated feeds into Hyperion Planning and HFM and supporting the management reporting layer.
Integrations and operational coverage included touchpoints to SunSystems and PeopleSoft to surface transactional and subledger data into the reporting environment, with ODI and SQL processes reconciling and transforming source ledgers for downstream consumption. A third-party consultant supported technical integration activities while an internal Hyperion analyst provided global systems management, daily reporting operations and oversight across SUN and PeopleSoft interfaces.
Governance and process restructuring centered on a global finance planning and analysis team, with collaboration between stakeholders, financial directors and controllers to rationalize multiple data sources into consistent management reports. The Hyperion analyst role delivered monthly reporting from Hyperion Planning for approximately three years and received positive feedback and formal recommendations from senior management for the quality and timeliness of reporting.
