In 2016, The Renaissance Group implemented INDATA iPM Cloud and upgraded to INDATA iPM Epic, moving core investment applications into a hosted private cloud environment. The Renaissance Group deployed INDATA iPM Cloud as the firmwide hosted infrastructure to centralize delivery of investment systems and reduce application sprawl across its Greater Cincinnati operations.
The implementation embedded INDATA iPM Epic as a front-to-back investment platform, aligning portfolio management, order management, trade processing, portfolio accounting, compliance controls, and reporting workflows within a single application stack. INDATA iPM Cloud and iPM Epic were configured to support standard Portfolio and Investment Management functional workflows, with operational automation around trade lifecycle and middle office reconciliation.
Architecturally the program consolidated IT and applications into INDATA’s private cloud to improve interoperability and to provide an owned disaster recovery posture for the firm in the United States. Governance centered on centralized application hosting and standardized operational procedures for investment operations and IT, enabling more consistent operational efficiency across the firm’s sites in the Greater Cincinnati region.
