In 2022, Thermopatch implemented To-Increase Data Modeling Studio to extract and prepare Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management data for its BI data warehouse. The deployment was executed as part of an Analytics and BI initiative during a cloud migration, with the objective of accelerating analytics readiness for finance and supply chain data.
Thermopatch configured To-Increase Data Modeling Studio to model source entities, map and transform datasets, and provision staged data for the warehouse. The To-Increase Data Modeling Studio implementation centralized semantic data models and instituted repeatable extraction and preparation workflows, reducing bespoke developer scripting in support of Analytics and BI operations.
Integrations connected Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management to the BI data warehouse and a TARGIT analytics layer, while Azure provided cloud hosting and storage during the migration. Operational coverage emphasized finance and supply chain analytics across Thermopatch's Europe-based operations, aligning warehouse feeds with TARGIT reporting and Azure data services.
Governance moved toward model-driven data preparation and standardized mappings, which reduced developer dependency and supported faster rollout. The Europe-based implementation reduced developer dependency, accelerated time-to-analytics and go-live, and lowered cost and error risk as reported by the vendor.
