In 2018, Thiot Ingenierie deployed Lightworks to support its Video Editing needs during a concentrated image processing engagement. The work took place at the Puybrun site between June 2018 and August 2018, where an operator executed a focused media processing assignment. The engagement scope included ingest, preparation and repurposing of raw footage for company use.
The implementation used LightWorks Pro and emphasized standard Video Editing capabilities such as timeline assembly, trimming, color correction, proxy workflows, batch processing and bulk encoding for distribution. Configuration favored workstation based editing and local media management sized to a 40 person professional services firm. Automation of batch export pipelines and organized project folders were applied to accelerate throughput.
Operational ownership was centralized to the image processing operator with a five person continuity team trained to operate the system. Training of five colleagues was delivered to transfer operational control, enabling internal editing, asset curation and ongoing reuse of edited media across company projects. Workflows were structured to hand edited assets back to business users for corporate use.
Over the two month period the team processed 8000 videos for company use, and the delivered training enabled the internal team to continue the project without external support. LightWorks Pro became the in house tool for video editing and asset preparation at Thiot Ingenierie.
