In 2013, TIGHITCO implemented Epicor ERP to centralize manufacturing financial and operational control, deploying Epicor ERP across its Berlin, CT production site to support ERP Financial processes and shop floor execution. The deployment covered the companys production control and inventory management domains, where staff included production planners, materials supervision, materials clerks, logistics for shipping and receiving, and tooling administration.
The implementation emphasized core manufacturing modules, including Job Processing, Time Phase Balancing, Material Requirements Planning MRP, Raw Material Planning, Material Preparation and Job Staging, work in process control, inventory turns, and shipping and receiving. Epicor ERP was configured to manage tool inventory and consumable inventory, and shop floor dashboards were implemented on large screen displays to improve production scheduling visibility and execution.
Operational flows were organized around MRP driven material prep and supplier communications to ensure on time availability of materials for production requirements. The scope of Epicor ERP spanned production, materials, logistics, and finance functions, supporting yearly audits for finance and management of customer supplied property and government owned tooling, with approximately 3,000 plus tools managed and maintained.
Governance and process changes included company wide training to ensure transactions were processed correctly, standardization of production control processes, and ongoing MRP enhancements and administration. The Epicor ERP deployment supported inventory accuracy initiatives that documented less than 1 percent variance in year end financial audit results for over 6 million dollars in inventory across more than 7,000 part line items, reflecting integrated ERP Financial and manufacturing control practices.

In 2016 TIGHITCO implemented Domo as its Finance Business Intelligence tool to centralize reporting for the Atlanta facility and to support corporate consolidation. The deployment placed Domo in the Analytics and BI category to lead monthly, quarterly, and year end closing workflows, provide audit reporting, and deliver reporting insights to the Corporate TIGHITCO team.
Configuration emphasized automation of site specific reporting, including daily operational reports and scheduled close packs for the Atlanta finance organization. Core functional capabilities deployed in Domo included dashboarding for financial KPIs, data modeling and ETL orchestration to consolidate site feeds, and consolidated financial reporting to support corporate consolidation requirements.
Operational connections were established between Domo and Atlanta site financial and operational data sources to automate data ingestion and reduce manual report preparation, while providing consolidated outputs for the Corporate TIGHITCO team. The implementation scope covered the Atlanta facility finance function and interfaced with Corporate finance processes to ensure timely submission of financial data and to assist in the automation of the monthly financial closing process.
Governance instituted an Atlanta Champion role for Domo to manage data quality, report distribution, and coordination of month end automation efforts with Corporate. Oversight responsibilities for the deployment included providing necessary reporting to facilitate corporate consolidation and supporting the annual audit through standardized reporting and controlled access.
