In 2012 Tipico implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment focused on the Finance Module to centralize financial processing and reporting for the company's Finance Department in Germany.
Work during the engagement centered on programming and customizing the Finance Module, including configuration of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows consistent with ERP Financial functional patterns. The team created customized reports to support the Management Accountant, embedding management accounting structures such as chart of accounts normalization, period close sequencing and financial reporting templates within Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Post go live responsibilities included general maintenance of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV package and database, ongoing application configuration and report tuning to support the Finance Department. The deployment centralized employee master data and personnel records for Tipico's approximately 6,000 employees supporting leisure and hospitality operations in Germany. DLGL VIP HCM serves as the system of record for core HR administrative processes and workforce data.
Configuration emphasized Core HR capabilities including employee lifecycle management, organizational management, absence and leave administration, and payroll and benefits workflow interfaces consistent with standard Core HR functional modules.
