| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | ETG Consulting | 2024 | 2024 | In 2024 Tiryaki Agro implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its core ERP Financial platform to provide 24/7 global access for a 1,500 person workforce and to support operations across 25 production facilities, affiliates in 11 countries, and logistics operations at 21 ports. The deployment was executed with ETG Consulting and completed in a 14 month program that engaged a working team of 100 expert users from production, logistics, human resources, accounting, stock and shipping to design configuration and workflows aligned to agricultural supply chain operations. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations implementation concentrated on financial reporting and month end close automation, integrated inventory and stock reporting, contract and approval workflows, and operational capabilities for production, logistics and shipping. Azure DevOps was adopted to orchestrate development sprints, prioritize workloads and provide transparent tracking, and Power BI dashboards were connected to Azure DevOps to surface project and operational metrics to stakeholders. The solution also leveraged Microsoft 365 and Teams for document collaboration and mobile access to approval requests, enabling employees to view and act on transactions from phones. Architecture and integrations centered on Microsoft Azure infrastructure with managed virtual machines and cloud services to reduce on-premises infrastructure footprint, while maintaining data residency controls where required. The implementation integrated transactional data flows for shipping orders and enabled contract generation and distribution from within the system, and it linked finance and supply chain processes to provide a single source of financial and operational truth. Governance used a cross-functional steering group drawn from the 100 expert users to govern configuration changes, release cadence and user acceptance testing. Explicit operational outcomes reported after go-live include a 67 percent reduction in month end close time, reduction of 12 month financial report preparation to about 20 to 30 minutes, audit cycle time shortened to three days, export of reports to Excel reduced to three to five minutes from hours, order opening time shortened to one minute from four minutes, and monthly closure activities shortened to about 2.5 days from six days. The program also delivered more transparent consolidated financial data and reduced infrastructure costs through Azure-based operations, while positioning the organization to extend automation via Power Platform and to pilot AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot. |
