In 2024, Toa Global Australia implemented Mercury Workflow Automation, a Business Process Management application to streamline recruitment, applicant qualification and approval workflows across the Asia Pacific region. The deployment focused on automating candidate screening and approval routing to reduce manual screening effort and incidents of fraud in candidate assessments.
Mercury Workflow Automation was configured to use workflow and approvals modules and contract flow capabilities to orchestrate end to end recruitment processes. The implementation introduced automated approval gates, rule based screening for candidate qualification, and DocuSign enabled contract flows to accelerate placement confirmation.
Mercury xRM delivered the implementation and integrated Mercury Workflow Automation with Microsoft Teams adaptive cards for reviewer interactions and DocuSign for executed agreements, creating a synchronous approval and signature loop. The architecture centralized workflow orchestration within Mercury Workflow Automation while leveraging Teams adaptive cards for reviewer input and DocuSign for legally binding contract execution.
Governance was established through centralized approval routing and process owner controls to standardize screening and approval decisions across HR and recruitment functions in the region. Outcomes stated in the case study include faster vetting, improved placement validation, and a reduction in manual screening and fraud in candidate assessments.
