Workday Financial Management was configured to support core accounting controls and financial reporting capabilities, with emphasis on general ledger consolidation, chart of accounts alignment, and transaction-level accounting records. The team documented and implemented accounting policies and business processes inside the Workday Financial Management environment to maintain and strengthen internal controls and to support statutory and investor reporting requirements.
The program included a data migration and conversion effort from SAP to Workday, incorporating migration of accounting records, chart of accounts mappings, and historical balances into Workday Financial Management. The migration activity tied directly to audit and tax deliverables, and required coordination between accounting staff and systems teams to validate migrated financial data.
Governance and operational rollout centered on process documentation and policy enforcement, with senior accounting staff assisting in business process development, system configuration validation, and audit support workflows. Tokopedia Workday Financial Management ERP Financial now serves the finance and accounting business function, with a documented operating model and strengthened control framework implemented as part of the 2017 deployment.

Workday HCM operated across HR, Organization Development, Finance, IT Security, and Risk Control Audit functions and supported people operations for Tokopedia’s approximately 4,700 employees in Indonesia.
Governance and process changes focused on centralizing people information and formalizing onboarding, offboarding, and performance management workflows. Data protection and access controls were implemented in collaboration with IT Security and Risk Control Audit, and ongoing maintenance, configuration updates, and cross-functional coordination were handled by the internal Organization Development and HR teams to sustain the Core HR environment.
