In 2018, Beaver Traffic Management implemented Traffio Payroll to centralise scheduling and payroll processing across its Australian operations. The deployment used Traffio Payroll to align operational bookings with payroll rules and to provide a single system of record for scheduling, time capture, and pay calculation, operating within the company's existing operational footprint in Australia.
The implementation configured scheduling centralisation and a payroll rate engine that applied overtime and allowances to completed bookings. Traffio Payroll was configured to convert completed bookings into payroll-eligible time, apply site and worktype specific rates, and consolidate rostering and timesheet inputs to automate pay calculation for HR and payroll teams.
Integrations focused on connecting completed bookings and invoicing so that booking completion events fed both payroll and accounts payable workflows, enabling a single flow from operational scheduling to invoicing and payroll posting. The solution impacted operations, site scheduling, HR and payroll administration, and accounts functions, creating a tighter operational-to-financial workflow between bookings, billing, and pay processing.
Governance changes included centralising scheduling ownership and standardising rate and allowance rules within Traffio Payroll to reduce manual payroll interventions. Reported outcomes include reducing daily scheduling time from approximately 5 hours to about 30 minutes per day, and an estimated labour cost saving of 40,000 Australian dollars over 12 months, driving improved HR payroll and operational efficiency.
