| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle PeopleSoft HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, TransLink implemented Oracle PeopleSoft HCM as its Core HR application. The deployment was operated and supported by an internal Business Systems Analysts team that maintained PeopleSoft HCM versions 8.9 and 9.1 and provided day to day support for HR and payroll operations.
Oracle PeopleSoft HCM was configured to support core HR and payroll workflows, including application of PeopleSoft Payroll Tax Updates and HR Bundles, periodic PeopleSoft HCM system upgrades, and routine OS server patching to meet system security policies. Functional coverage emphasized HR records, payroll processing, and the administrative bundles and patches required to keep payroll tax logic and HR configuration current.
The PeopleSoft implementation was integrated operationally with adjacent enterprise systems, notably SmartStream for finance processes and TruTrack for time keeping, with support responsibilities covering both hardware and software components. Support activities included problem management, service request handling, and managing transitions from development and testing into production operations.
Governance and operational control were centralized within the Business Systems Analysts team, which produced resourcing plans and metrics, aligned project activities with project managers, and provided leadership, direction, and mentoring to team members. The team was responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and recoverability of the Oracle PeopleSoft HCM application environment, and for identifying technical and process requirements to prioritize work and recommend solutions to business stakeholders.

| Hexagon | Legacy | HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 TransLink implemented HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) from Hexagon as its Enterprise Asset Management platform for BCRTC SkyTrain infrastructure. The deployment focused on operationalizing asset lifecycle processes across rolling stock, guideway, rail, stations, and operating facilities to consolidate maintenance planning and asset records.
Configuration work emphasized core EAM functional modules consistent with Enterprise Asset Management use cases, including asset registry and hierarchy, preventive and corrective maintenance workflows, work order management, and inventory and spare parts control. The program followed a hybrid Waterfall Agile approach with defined design sprints, iterative configuration cycles, and staged testing and deployment phases across system environments.
Operational coverage included maintenance operations, engineering, and facilities teams responsible for transit infrastructure at BCRTC, with functional access paths and role-based process flows established for end users. The implementation team structure incorporated Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Network and Data Analysts, Developers, and Quality Assurance Testers to manage design, integration testing, and system cutover activities.
Project governance was formalized through Sponsor and Stakeholder Management practices and Executive Project Steering Committees, which established project boundaries and an agreed scope. Subject Matter Expert services delivered asset management methodology, and the program included coordinated design, implementation, testing, and deployment stages to embed new EAM workflows into operational practice.

| Zoom Video Communications | Legacy | Zoom | Audio Video and Web Conferencing | Collaboration | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, TransLink deployed Zoom as its Audio Video and Web Conferencing solution. The deployment uses Zoom from Zoom Video Communications and is surfaced on TransLink’s public website to enable virtual meetings and stakeholder engagement alongside internal conferencing needs. The implementation is presented as a cloud-hosted conferencing layer consistent with Audio Video and Web Conferencing platforms, supporting browser-based access for external participants and standard client applications for staff.
Functionally the Zoom implementation covers core conferencing capabilities including scheduled and ad hoc meetings, webinar-style broadcast sessions, screen sharing, in-meeting chat, and cloud recording. Administrative control is organized through centralized account management and role-based access to align meeting provisioning with corporate communications, operations, and customer service workflows. Where embedded on the website, Zoom interfaces are used to provide direct join links and browser-based meeting entry for external users, while internal configuration favors enterprise provisioning, scheduling governance, and recording retention controls appropriate for a large transportation authority in Canada.
