In 2019, Treasure Data implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to centralize ERP Financial functions for Finance and global revenue operations. Oracle NetSuite ERP was deployed as the company-wide financial system to support general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue accounting, and core financial reporting used by the Finance organization and stakeholders in go to market teams.
The implementation emphasized standard financial modules and configuration aligned with SaaS order to cash and subscription revenue practices. Configuration and automation work focused on chart of accounts, revenue recognition configuration, invoice and billing templates, and interfaces to support quote to cash flows originating in Salesforce.com and Salesforce CPQ. The deployment included system level specifications, test plans, and data conversion activities consistent with enterprise ERP Financial requirements.
Integrations were explicitly instrumented with the companys Salesforce.com CRM and Salesforce CPQ for quoting and order data, and with the NetSuite ERP Interface Sligo to mediate transactional flows. The broader ecosystem of more than 40 revenue and GTM applications was considered during integration planning, including BI and deal management tools referenced in internal application lists, and the implementation required data mapping, data lineage analysis and source to destination validation to maintain consistent customer and revenue records across systems.
Governance and operational ownership were structured under the Global Revenue Applications and GTM Infrastructure function, with a small global team responsible for ongoing administration, requirements documentation, change control, and the deal approval matrix.
