In 2017, Trevi Canada implemented CIS Configurator, a Configure Price Quote (CPQ) application. CIS Configurator was configured to calculate components for custom pools and automatically generate bills of materials into Sage 300 and AutoSimply to streamline the quote-to-order process.
The deployment centered on a configuration engine that codified product options and component calculations for custom pool assemblies, and a BOM automation capability that produced ERP-ready BOMs. Functional workflows included quote creation, rules-based configuration, BOM generation, and orchestration of production planning inputs. The CIS Configurator application supported manufacturing and sales functions by embedding configuration logic at the front end of the order lifecycle.
Integrations were explicit to Sage 300 and AutoSimply, with automated transfer of BOMs and component data into the ERP to eliminate duplicate data entry. Operational scope covered Trevi Canada manufacturing and order processing across its Canadian operations, aligning quoting, engineering-to-order calculation, and production planning processes.
Governance changes focused on centralizing configuration rules and standardizing quote-to-order workflows between sales and production teams. The implementation reduced duplicate data entry and cut errors while improving manufacturing integration across their Canadian operations.
