The deployment focused on operational automation within manufacturing and supply chain functions at the company, using Exact MAX ERP as the core transactional and planning system. Exact MAX ERP was configured to support MRP driven alerting and reporting, with an automated alert report that tracks stock levels, late purchase orders, and shortages on the MRP. The implementation included a Jasper Reports based Pick List report to prepare production kits for the production floor, the Pick List reduced human error by more than 11.5 percent, and a custom Excel upload process that auto attaches components to manufacturers within Exact MAX ERP, saving the supply chain team more than three hours of manual data entry per day. Operational coverage centered on supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, and production floor operations, with Exact MAX ERP generating PO and inventory reports and sending them automatically to users by email. The deployment incorporated rules to select best vendor pricing within the system, a change that reduced materials costing by more than 5 percent through price selection logic and purchasing guidance. Process and governance changes accompanied the technical work, the team developed a repeatable Excel upload procedure and scheduled report distribution to shift data entry and reporting tasks out of manual workflows. The implementation emphasized automation of routine MRP alerts and scheduled communications, reallocating staff time toward procurement decisions and production kit fulfillment while keeping operational control within the Manufacturing ERP environment.
