In 2023, Troutbeck implemented Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Distribution. The Hotel Property Management application was configured to consolidate rate and availability management and to power direct bookings for the U.S. resort.
Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Distribution was deployed as a cloud-hosted distribution and reservations layer to centralize rate and inventory controls, reservation management, and distribution routing. Configuration work emphasized rate and availability synchronization, direct reservation processing, and automated distribution rules to reduce manual channel reconciliation.
Skipper Hospitality provided the booking-engine integration that links Troutbeck’s website to Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Distribution, enabling real-time availability and direct reservation flow. The implementation uses OPERA Cloud Distribution to power direct reservations and to feed centralized distribution workflows across the property.
The project case study reports a 55% reduction in distribution costs for the resort following the implementation. Rollout activities included booking-engine integration testing and operational handover to revenue and distribution governance teams to manage rate policies and direct booking channels.
