In 2025 TUZ Ubezpieczenia implemented Guidewire Quantee, deploying Guidewire Quantee as its Insurance Pricing and Rating Engine to rebase tariff setting for retail motor and home insurance products. The program aligns with the insurer's strategic target of 50 to 60 percent growth over three years and an objective to maintain profitability across profiled lines.
The implementation establishes a centralized tariff platform that combines traditional actuarial techniques with machine learning and neural network models for model-driven pricing and customer profiling. Guidewire Quantee will be used for dynamic pricing workflows and immediate tariff change deployment, with the vendor solution adapted to support retail motor, home and key third-party liability products.
Work began in 2025 with a development schedule extending through 2027, and the first implementations announced for 2025. TUZ plans to put the tool for its key third-party liability insurance product into production in the first half of 2026, while strengthening the Analysis and Tariff Office through staffing additions including the appointment of Michał Dorosz as director effective September 2025.
Governance and operating model changes accompany the technical rollout, with retail sales, product and pricing structures reorganized to leverage the new pricing capabilities. The partnership with Quantee and Guidewire is described as providing substantive pricing expertise and tooling to enable immediate tariff updates, increased competitiveness and support for profitable growth and customer satisfaction.
