In 2018, Twisted X implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP under the ERP Financial category, initiating companywide administration of the platform. The implementation included setup and administration of Oracle NetSuite ERP and focused operational attention on NetSuite roles and permissions administration to control financial and transactional access.
Configuration and functional work centered on role configuration, documented quick reference guides for ERP roles, and day to day administration tasks. The team developed a QA tool for quickly identifying issues with EDI 940 and 945s, and authored PowerShell scripts to automate Group Policy use and scheduled administrative tasks, improving repeatable ERP and workstation operations.
The implementation was supported by on premise and cloud adjacent infrastructure administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy administration, O365 license and Exchange mail service administration, email security and signature solutions, and domain and DNS record management. Network and systems tasks included configuring managed switches for VLANs and monitoring, server maintenance and Hyper V hardware utilization fixes, configuring new user workstations and decommissions, implementing an off site backup solution for BaaS and DRaaS, and deploying network monitoring, alerting, and reporting.
Operational governance encompassed first point of contact support for third party service contracts, enforcement of support and ticketing policies, documentation of IT topology and site setup, and presentations of solutions for remote end user support and administration. The work also included coordination with vendors to obtain assets software and services while centralizing ERP administration and support processes for finance and fulfillment related workflows.
