The deployment established an accounting backbone for Tyr Tactical LLC in Peoria, IL, supporting a small retail organization with accounts receivable and billing operations for clients across the United States and international customers.
Microsoft Dynamics GP was configured to support core ERP Financial workflows including accounts receivable, invoicing with client specific customizations, customer maintenance, cash receipts processing for wire, ACH, check, and credit card payments, debit and credit memo processing, sales and use tax review and corrections, and general journal entry posting. The implementation embedded daily operational controls such as pre posting order and invoice review, management of unapplied payments and prepayments, and reconciliation routines that feed month end balancing and reporting.
Operationally the system supported accounting, distribution, shipping, and customer service through shared order and billing records, with accounting staff serving as the liaison to executive and fulfillment teams to resolve order to cash discrepancies prior to finalization. Collections workflows and daily and weekly collection outreach were organized around Dynamics GP records, and government portal billings and inquiries were managed alongside system postings and customer file maintenance.
