Anyline Legacy Anyline Natural Language Processing AI-Powered Application n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, Tyrolit implemented Anyline Optical Character Recognition Scanner to support its supply chain business functions. The deployment targeted supply chain operations with the goal of digitizing text capture from supplier documents, material labels, and inbound logistics workflows, under the direction of Tyrolit’s Business Application management organization. Anyline text recognition technology was configured to perform on-device text extraction of alphanumeric identifiers and free text fields to reduce manual data entry and accelerate document processing. Operational rollout emphasized embedding text recognition into receiving and goods tracking activities and into the business application processes owned by Business Application management. According to Eduard Kohler, Head of Business Application management at Tyrolit, Anyline helped make a large improvement in their working process and brought large improvements to their supply chain process.
