In 2022, UBCI Tunisia selected Finastra’s Fusion Corporate Channels in October 2022 to provide next generation digital trade and cash management capabilities for its corporate customers in Tunisia, using the Finastra Unified Corporate Portal as the single portal solution. This engagement places UBCI within the Digital Banking category for corporate services and centers the bank on a unified corporate portal experience for trade finance and cash management workflows.
The implementation emphasized core corporate modules commonly bundled with corporate channel platforms, including trade finance processing, cash management and liquidity visibility, corporate account and user role administration, payments initiation workflows and reporting. Configuration work focused on aligning those modules to UBCI corporate banking product definitions and corporate client access models, while the Finastra Unified Corporate Portal was positioned as the customer facing application layer.
Tesselate Group served as the implementation partner and led configuration and rollout activities with UBCI’s corporate banking and trade finance teams, executing the October 2022 selection through implementation governance and delivery coordination. Operational scope covered corporate customers across Tunisia and internal business functions within corporate banking and treasury operations, with the portal intended to centralize corporate channel interactions and administrative controls.
Governance and operational ownership remained with UBCI’s corporate banking product and channel teams, supported by Tesselate Group for technical delivery and on boarding. The project narrative strictly reflects the 2022 selection of Finastra Fusion Corporate Channels and the adoption of the Finastra Unified Corporate Portal within UBCI’s Digital Banking strategy for corporate trade and cash management.
