| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle NetSuite ERP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Ubiquiti implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial platform to support rapidly expanding global B2B and D2C eCommerce and distribution operations. The deployment targeted finance and order-to-cash workflows while tightly aligning returns, warranty and fulfillment processes to centralized financial records and inventory valuation.
The Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation included configuration of core financial modules and order management capabilities, with category-aligned functionality to manage returns and replacement orders, refund processing, and inventory transactions. Oracle NetSuite ERP was used to automate large return batch receiving, preliminary device testing workflows, and sorting for Failure Analysis Engineering, enabling standardized transaction records and tighter control over warranty disposition.
Integrations were implemented with Shopify for D2C storefront order flows, Zendesk for customer support case linkage, RF-Smart for warehouse mobile inventory and receiving, and Google Workspace for collaboration and reporting. The solution operated across US and Europe warehouses and coordinated replacement orders with a China 3PL and major carriers including UPS, Fedex and DHL, creating an end-to-end operational topology from storefront to fulfillment and financial close.
Governance and process changes were driven by an internal process owner and project manager working with department managers and NetSuite developers in an informal, startup-like improvement model. The rollout included operational training for RF-Smart warehouse workflows and onboarding over 20 contractors and hires in English and Spanish, and the team documented historical product upgrades and replacement order procedures. Outcomes recorded by internal stakeholders included scaled refund and return inventory processes, accelerated distribution partner response times from multi-week cycles to days, detection of fraudulent returns that prevented substantial losses, and capacity to absorb a 45 percent increase in D2C fulfillment demand during the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The deployment situates Zoom as the web-facing audio and video channel for live sessions and participant joins without requiring separate portal navigation.
The implementation leverages Zoom meeting and webinar capabilities to enable video conferencing, screen sharing, participant audio, and scheduling workflows tied to web entry points.
