McLeod Software Legacy McLeod FlowLogix Business Process Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, UCW Logistics deployed McLeod FlowLogix as a Business Process Management platform to formalize and automate core transportation and warehouse processes. The implementation targeted operations, dispatch, customer service, and back office order processing across the company, which operates approximately 50 employees in the United States. The McLeod FlowLogix configuration centered on workflow orchestration, task automation, process modeling, rules based exception handling, and document routing to support structured load tendering and warehouse task sequencing. Administrators configured role based permissions, approval workflows, and SQL based reporting artifacts consistent with Business Process Management functional patterns. Integrations were implemented with existing McLeod software components including McLeod Power Broker and Load Master, and the implementation leveraged SQL, API, and EDI interfaces to exchange load, rate, and billing data with TMS and accounting touchpoints. The solution coexisted with the company Microsoft O365 environment and Active Directory for account provisioning and MFA, and operated alongside VMware hosted servers and ConnectWise Manage and Automate for endpoint and remote support. Governance emphasized centralized process ownership, documented use cases, and maintained procedural reports to support change control and ongoing operations. The internal IT support team retained responsibility for user account setup, MFA configuration, RDP and VPN connectivity, incident triage, and staged rollout activities to bring dispatch and warehouse staff onto McLeod FlowLogix.
