Month end and compliance processes were implemented to produce payroll tax files and execute payroll tax payments across jurisdictions, and to prepare and upload files for default fund Super and Choice-of-fund Super followed by payment to super funds. Governance procedures assigned the Payroll Specialist responsibility for masterfile accuracy, timesheet collection and consolidation, EFT reconciliation, GL file validation, payroll tax filing, and superannuation uploads, with acting managers supporting approvals and local coordination. Access MicrOpay provided the Payroll capabilities to transact payroll runs, generate statutory and payment files, and integrate payroll outputs with bank and accounting workflows.
