| IFS | Deltek CostPoint | IFS Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 Ultra Electronics Group implemented IFS Cloud ERP, categorizing the deployment under ERP Financial and replacing Deltek CostPoint. The implementation targeted procurement and supply chain functions supporting projects and operations at the Rugeley site and across relevant business units.
Configuration focused on procurement and purchase-to-pay workflows, supplier master data and supplier onboarding capabilities within IFS Cloud ERP. Procurement modules were used to manage purchase orders, supplier qualification and due diligence, and to capture procurement specifications developed in collaboration with engineering. The IFS Cloud ERP implementation provided operational controls for material requisitioning and PO management aligned to company procurement policy.
Operational coverage included procurement, projects, operations, engineering and quality, with cross-functional workflows to ensure timely supply of essential materials for major projects. Stakeholder coordination was routed through IFS Cloud ERP driven processes, with procurement leaders using the system as the point of escalation and to support supplier visits and onboarding. The application was instrumented to capture OTIF and department KPIs for monthly review with Quality to trigger corrective actions where required.
Governance and rollout emphasized people and process changes, with procurement team objectives, skills matrices, training plans and succession planning maintained alongside system configuration. Procurement leadership represented the supply chain department in transformation sprint events and managed supplier onboarding and validation as an integrated ERP Financial process.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Ultra Electronics Group implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR application to centralize global people management under the HRIS programme. The deployment branded as myHR targeted a global rollout to standardize employee records, organizational hierarchies, and core HR workflows across the enterprise.
Configuration focused on Core HR capabilities typical of the category, including centralized worker profiles, organizational management, position control, employee self service, and configurable HR business processes and approvals. Workday HCM was configured to capture ways of working and system guides, and to automate standard HR transactions and manager self service workflows.
Change governance was formalized through a change analyst role that conducted change impact analysis, designed and executed communications activity, produced end user documentation and system guides, and led an intranet redesign to host training materials and operational procedures. The programme governance and communications targeted HR teams, people managers, and the global employee population to embed new processes and ensure consistent operational use of Workday HCM.

| Infor | Legacy | Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) | Manufacturing ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Ultra Electronics Group implemented Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) as their Manufacturing ERP to provide core order-to-cash and master data management capabilities. The Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) deployment was integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement to support coordinated sales and ERP workflows, with MCA Connect delivering the integration and ongoing managed services.
The implementation centers on data synchronization across accounts, account addresses, products, orders, invoices, RMAs, and commissions, with a user-invoked push from Dynamics 365 CE into Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) for account and order records, and automated pulls from Syteline into CE for transactional and master data. This configuration supports end-to-end visibility between sales and fulfillment processes, and aligns master data and transactional records across the Manufacturing ERP and CRM layers.
MCA Connect built a portal within Dynamics 365 CE to provision third party manufacturer representatives with access to their authorized CRM records, enabling those representatives to create and view Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Quotes and Cases directly. Website lead capture was automated into Dynamics 365 CE, and a canvas Power App was embedded in the CE interface to rate and score Opportunity strength to aid forecasting, illustrating an architectural approach that extends the CRM front end with lightweight Power Platform apps while maintaining Syteline as the transactional ERP.
Governance and operational ownership were structured so that the integration is manageable by Ultra employees for minor changes, while MCA Connect provides timely support for major updates, custom code adjustments, and regular system updates to remain aligned with Microsoft platform releases. The managed services arrangement covers both operational maintenance and iterative enhancements, preserving separation of responsibilities between in-house users and the SI for larger change requests.
As stated by internal stakeholders, the combined Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) and Dynamics 365 for CE implementation improved sales process efficiency, provided comprehensive visibility for the sales organization, and materially improved sales forecasting through synchronized transactional data and opportunity scoring. The integration converted previously manual processes into automated workflows for manufacturer representatives and website leads, increasing collaboration between external reps and Ultra Electronics sales teams.
