In 2012, Unified Power implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP, deploying a cloud-based ERP Financial environment across corporate and branch operations. Between 2012 and 2014 a multiyear data migration and implementation was executed to populate Oracle NetSuite ERP and establish core financial and order workflows.
The implementation configured Accounts Receivable and order management capabilities within the ERP Financial system, and established Work Order ticketing consistent with ITIL service level management. The NetSuite system administrator role was centralized, and a new internal department to manage orders was created to operationalize order to cash and invoice processing.
The NetSuite environment was integrated with third party products explicitly including Avalara, eMerchant, and Epiphany eService, and the overall deployment sat on a cloud SaaS footprint while the corporate IT organization had migrated physical server infrastructure to virtual machines. Implementation was delivered by a data migration team of four employees and two contractors, with ongoing support from two direct application support reports and external contractors for site level IT needs.
Governance was driven by monthly IT Steering Committee oversight, ITIL aligned incident and problem processes, and formal management of inventory, license and support agreements. The program produced executive reporting for the COO, CFO, President and private investors, and an Accounts Receivable reengineering that explicitly reduced outstanding receivables by over $1,000,000.

| ECi Software Solutions | Legacy | ECI Macola | Manufacturing ERP, Distribution ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, Unified Power implemented ECI Macola to support its national field service and distribution operations. ECI Macola was configured as a Manufacturing ERP,Distribution ERP solution to manage order processing and parts logistics across a 250-employee service organization operating across the United States and select overseas sites. The rollout centered on the Account Coordinator and dispatch functions that coordinate emergency and preventative service calls.
Implementation focused on core modules aligned to service-driven distribution, including sales order and work order processing, scheduling and resource assignment, inventory and parts tracking, and procurement order management. ECI Macola supported creation of Sales Orders and Work Orders for emergency calls, scheduling by skill set and availability, and resource coordination across field engineers, subcontractors, direct-ship vendors and OEMs. Workflow automation was configured for timely customer communications and order status updates to meet the organization requirement for rapid response.
Operational integrations emphasized internal procurement and logistics workflows and vendor direct-ship processes to ensure parts availability and expedite scheduling. The system structured order-to-work flows so procurement status feeds into dispatch planning and parts status is visible to Account Coordinators and district operations, supporting national coverage and intermittent overseas site service. The deployment preserved tight coupling between inventory-led procurement and field-service execution.
Governance and process changes formalized the Account Coordinator as the central liaison, with defined escalation to the District Field Manager for afterhours emergencies and approval workflows to close emergency calls. Role-based configuration, scheduling rules that balance customer requirements against internal efficiency targets, and standardized work order templates were implemented to enforce consistent execution across departments. ECI Macola, as a Manufacturing ERP,Distribution ERP application, therefore became the system of record for order management, scheduling, parts procurement and field service coordination at Unified Power.
