Fiserv Legacy Fiserv Business Process Manager for Premier Business Process Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, United Bank of Michigan deployed Fiserv Business Process Manager for Premier to orchestrate account opening and customer service workflows across its retail banking operations. This implementation aligned the bank’s operational workflows with Business Process Management capabilities, centralizing workflow orchestration and task routing to improve consistency across its 13 branch locations in Western Michigan and its customer service channels. The Fiserv Business Process Manager for Premier implementation was configured to manage account opening workflows, customer service task sequencing, and automated handoffs between front line staff and back office processing. Configurations included workflow templates for standard account lifecycle events, rule based routing to appropriate work queues, and event triggers to invoke document management and electronic signature processes consistent with BPM functional patterns. Integrations were established to connect the BPM layer to the bank’s core processing environment, Fiserv Premier, and to the enterprise content management suite, Fiserv Director, enabling automated document indexing and archival. The BPM instance also interfaced with the bank’s eSignature platform, enabling remote and in branch tablet signing as part of end to end customer journeys, and ensuring that signed documents were routed and filed into the content management system. Governance and process control focused on standardizing workflow definitions, centralizing business rules within the BPM, and reducing manual touch points for account opening and service transactions. The integrated stack, including the eSignature and content management interfaces, produced documented benefits such as faster, more accurate, paperless transactions and automated archival that reduced the risk of accidental human error.
