In 2006, United States Sugar Corporation implemented Intelex EHS Training Management as part of an Intelex Technologies Integrated Management System deployment, targeting Learning and Development and operational safety workflows. The initiative centered on a formalized Training Management capability within the Intelex EHS Training Management product, plus audit functionality and a customized incident module, to replace paper based safety and compliance processes across U.S. operations. The rollout was planned for completion by the end of 2006 and was scoped to cover HR learning and development needs along with field safety teams across the company.
Configuration emphasized training record management, audit scheduling and findings capture, and a tailored incident management workflow that supported structured incident investigations. The deployment integrated OSHA 300 log management into the incident and audit processes, reducing manual effort for safety reporting and strengthening audit and compliance outcomes for safety and compliance and HR functions. Governance moved from paper driven procedures to system enforced workflows for training completion, incident investigation tracking, and audit remediation tracking, improving traceability and operational control without specifying external implementation partners.

| QAD | Legacy | QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) | Manufacturing ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 1998 | 1999 |
In 1998, United States Sugar Corporation implemented QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) for Manufacturing ERP across its farming and food processing operations. The agreement covered deployment at 17 agricultural areas, two raw sugar mills, the companys citrus processing plant, and the new cane sugar refinery adjacent to the Clewiston, Florida headquarters, with the software offered on a module by module basis to span repetitive to configure to order manufacturing environments.
The implementation activated core modules for planning, manufacturing, distribution and financials. The manufacturing module was configured to regulate manufacturing activity across diverse production environments, the distribution module to monitor inventory balances and manage purchasing and sales order entry, and the financial module to interface with planning, manufacturing and distribution to report the financial implications of operational activities. QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) was also set up at the new refinery to summarize production data at a high level per product and to drill down into transactional detail for accurate cost and activity analysis.
The runtime architecture used PCs on a Microsoft Windows NT network linked to a Hewlett Packard HP 9000 server, the solution being based on an open, client/server architecture. Module interfaces between planning, distribution, manufacturing and financials provided integrated transactional flows and cross functional reporting. QADs corporate production and distribution organization was registered to the ISO 9002 standard, which informed process and quality alignment during rollout.
U.S. Sugar cited lower cost of implementation, faster time to benefit and flexibility for tracking production costs as key selection drivers for MFG/PRO, according to Greg Ford vice president of internal audit and analysis. The vendor contract and module by module deployment enabled an enterprise level ERP footprint across agricultural and processing sites while supporting role based operational control and product level cost visibility.
