In 2015 USG Professionals implemented Kyriba Treasury as its Treasury Management platform to support the Belgium legal entity and to centralize treasury workflows across regional positions. The implementation is anchored in corporate finance and treasury operations, aligning the Kyriba Treasury deployment with month end consolidation and liquidity reporting responsibilities that supported finance, treasury, and management reporting functions.
Kyriba Treasury was configured to provide core treasury operational capabilities including cash positioning and cash pooling, reconciliation and coherence checks of treasury positions, consolidation of regional treasury positions through month end controls, and support for investment position reporting. The platform also provided user support and operational controls used by junior and senior treasury analysts to validate data, resolve discrepancies, and feed management reporting.
The implementation integrated Kyriba Treasury with the company data warehouse and Business Intelligence stack, explicitly supporting Microsoft PowerBi, IBM Planning Analytics, and IBM Cognos Analytics for downstream reporting. Interfaces were enhanced to process mass volumes and multiple file formats, and the deployment linked treasury outputs into management reporting interfaces such as HFM and Tagetik, while accounting and ERP touchpoints included SAP where relevant for financial data flows. Payment services were identified as part of the scope and the project included steps to implement payment processing capabilities within the treasury architecture.
Governance was formalized around monthly closings, with a named person of contact for month end activities, reconciliation workflows, and month end controls consolidating regional positions. The program included business analyst led change control, processing and implementing change requests in reporting platforms, creation of functional flowcharts for process-to-system mappings, and provisioning of operational user support to ensure data coherence and alignment with C level reporting requirements.

In 2019, USG Professionals deployed Amazon Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) to manage traffic to its nl-be website. The Amazon Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) implementation serves as the primary traffic distribution layer within a Content Delivery Network context, directing HTTP and HTTPS requests across backend web resources and performing health checks to remove unhealthy endpoints. The implementation is hosted on Amazon Web Services and is integrated directly with the company website to provide high availability for online services.
Configuration emphasizes centralized connection management, SSL/TLS termination at the load balancer, and session affinity controls to stabilize user sessions, reflecting standard Content Delivery Network functional patterns. Operational scope is focused on the Belgium website and impacts web operations and customer-facing digital channels for the professional services firm. Governance centers on centralized ELB configuration and monitoring within the AWS account to maintain routing policies and availability controls.
