FIS Global Legacy FIS Integrated Payables AP Automation ERP n/a 2020 2020
In 2020 Utica First Insurance Company implemented FIS Integrated Payables as its AP Automation solution to centralize accounts payable processing at its Oriskany, NY site. The engagement was driven by the Business Systems Analyst team and focused on converting manual check processing to electronic payments through FIS Integrated Payables, with direct involvement from the Accounting Department. Implementation work included design and engineering of non web service data transfer patterns, and the development of PowerShell scripts to automate delivery of reports and data extracts to third parties. The Business Systems Analyst functioned as technical SME for the Accounts Payable integration with the companys new policy management system, designing and implementing the data flow process between FIS Integrated Payables and policy management. Operational coverage spanned Accounting, Accounts Payable, and the Mailroom, with a separate print management project coordinated alongside Mailroom staff to tailor output and distribution requirements. Integration work emphasized orchestration of file based transfers and scheduled automation, aligning AP Automation workflows to existing policy and reporting processes. Governance and process changes were implemented to support electronic payment processing and automated extract delivery, including documented data flow designs and department level coordination between Accounting and IT. The project delivered a conversion from manual check processing to electronic payments through FIS Integrated Payables, and established automated report and data extract pipelines to third party recipients.

Quadient Legacy Quadient Neopost IS-6000 Mailing System ERP Services and Operations n/a 2011 2011
In 2011, Utica First Insurance Company deployed Quadient Neopost IS-6000 as its Mailing System to manage corporate postal operations. The implementation was responsible for handling and distribution of all US Postal Service mailings, both internal and external, and for printing and processing company generated documents within the centralized mailroom. Quadient Neopost IS-6000 was configured to provide postage metering, batch print and feed, job queuing, and mail accounting capabilities typical of a Mailing System. Configuration emphasized automated job batching and document processing to standardize mail runs and to support postage reconciliation and reporting workflows. The solution operated alongside existing mailroom hardware, explicitly interfacing operationally with Hasler M8800I and Hasler IM6000 machines to coordinate printing, feeding, and franking workflows. Operational coverage was centered on the mailroom function and supported departmental outbound mail across the United States, with staff required to operate both computer equipment and the mailroom machines. Governance and workflow changes focused on operator procedures and intake standardization, assigning responsibilities for machine operation, postage accounting, and outbound sorting to mailroom staff. Rollout concentrated on embedding the Quadient Neopost IS-6000 into established mailroom processes, with training directed at the combined software and hardware operational model.
