In 2013 Valerus deployed ZS Javelin from ZS Associates as part of a U.S. sales effectiveness program, applying JAVELIN Territory Design to redesign territories, realign customer assignments and transform sales planning and incentives. The implementation centered on sales planning and Incentive Compensation Management processes for the company’s sales organization, aligning territory architecture with compensation objectives and coverage models.
ZS Javelin was applied through territory modeling and account assignment workflows, and module usage for incentive compensation is inferred from the concurrent sales compensation redesign, indicating configuration of incentive rules, quota alignment and coverage mapping typical of Incentive Compensation Management implementations. The engagement emphasized territory design, customer-to-rep assignment optimization and sales planning capabilities, enabling structured assignment workflows and recalibrated compensation parameters.
