In 2021 Van Vliet Automotive implemented ISAH Mobile Logistics with ISAH Business software as part of a broader ERP adoption to standardize operations across its Nieuwekerk a/d IJssel headquarters and Rotterdam sites. The deployment follows a period of acquisitions and multi-company integration and is aligned with the company objective to centralize order, inventory and shop-floor information across group entities.
ISAH Mobile Logistics is deployed as the Warehouse Management component to digitize inbound receipt and outbound issue workflows, and to support mobile check-in of vehicles using iPad devices. Configuration work focused on inventory transaction capture, bin-level receipt and issue processes, and feeding stock status into the Isah ERP for use in pre-calculation and order confirmation workflows. The implementation emphasizes warehouse transaction automation and tighter linkage between workshop modification activities and inventory movements.
Operational integration connects ISAH Mobile Logistics to the Isah ERP core, and is planned to feed the Isah Web Portal for stock presentation and dealer portfolio use on the corporate website. The solution scope covers warehouse operations, purchasing input to procurement decisions, planning visibility and sales order processing, reducing duplicate administrative steps across the companys multiple operational entities. Isah Consultants led realization activities and worked with key users to map manufacturing and body construction processes into the Warehouse Management workflows.
Governance and rollout followed a phased realization approach with key-user training and a targeted go-live date of January 1, 2023, moving into a first year of stabilization and fit-gap refinement. Van Vliet Automotive expects to use ISAH Mobile Logistics and the underlying Isah ERP to improve quote to order throughput, enable pre-calculation versus post-calculation, extract consolidated management information for stock and planning questions, and to eliminate duplicate manual tasks while preserving headcount for growth. The program also positions the company to adopt further digital options from Isah in areas such as web-based stock presentation and mobile inspection workflows.
