| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2008 | 2018 |
In 2008 Venterra Realty implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial solution to centralize property-level financial controls and reporting. The deployment focused on finance and property accounting workflows across Venterra Realty's multi-property portfolio, consolidating utility cost tracking and payment processing into a single Oracle E-Business Suite instance.
The implementation configured core financial capabilities consistent with ERP Financial usage, including General Ledger configuration for utilities accounts, Budgeting controls to construct and monitor utility budgets by property, Accounts Payable workflows to process and monitor vendor and supplier payments, and financial reporting to support monthly analysis. Oracle E-Business Suite was used to maintain the utilities general ledger, ensuring individual property balance sheets in Oracle reflected ongoing utility activity.
Operational governance emphasized budget compliance and payment timeliness, with utility budgets constructed and monitored according to company guidelines to keep costs within a 15% threshold, and payments processed and monitored to ensure vendors and suppliers were paid within established time limits. The finance and property management teams generated and verified a monthly utility analysis report in Oracle E-Business Suite to gauge consumption trends for each property and to inform ongoing budget adjustments.
Configuration included property-level chart of accounts and automated ledger updates so that utility transactions posted directly to individual property balance sheets in Oracle E-Business Suite, and scheduled financial reports produced the monthly utility analysis outputs. Controls and workflows were structured to align accounts payable timing, ledger maintenance, and budget monitoring with property finance operations, preserving consistent financial governance across the portfolio.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2018 |
In 2014, Venterra Realty implemented Workday HCM for Core HR to centralize employee master data and HR processes. The deployment supports an 850 employee organization based in Canada and establishes Workday HCM as the primary system of record for Core HR functions.
Workday HCM was configured to enable custom reporting and ad-hoc querying, with HR analysts creating and editing bespoke reports inside the Workday HR system. Routine reporting schedules and query-driven validations were put in place to maintain data integrity and to surface discrepancies for remediation.
The implementation includes a direct operational interface between Workday HR and ADP Payroll, with explicit responsibility to troubleshoot and assist with all Workday HR to ADP Payroll employee data integration issues. Integration scope is focused on employee master records and payroll-related field synchronization, with exception handling for interface failures.
Governance is oriented around reporting ownership and reconciliation processes, assigning HR operations stewardship of employee data and establishing escalation workflows for integration exceptions and data quality incidents. Change control for report updates and integration fixes is maintained through controlled report modification practices and documented issue resolution steps.

| RealPage | Legacy | RealPage YieldStar | Real Estate Property Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Venterra Realty deployed RealPage YieldStar to strengthen revenue management across its portfolio, aligning the Real Estate Property Management application to asset-level pricing and occupancy objectives. The implementation positioned RealPage YieldStar as the revenue management system of record to determine unit-level rent recommendations and to balance occupancy and revenue across properties.
The deployment focused on revenue management capabilities, including automated rent rate recommendations, unit-level price optimization, and portfolio-level demand analytics. Configuration emphasized rules-based pricing inputs and segmentation logic to ensure that the RealPage YieldStar price recommendations accounted for unit attributes and market conditions, while supporting recurring cadence for re-pricing.
Operational integration centered on embedding pricing workflows into leasing and asset management processes, enabling leasing teams and asset managers to operationalize recommendations from RealPage YieldStar within their leasing workflows. The implementation scope covered portfolio-wide operational use, with governance routed through centralized pricing policies and approval workflows to standardize decision making across sites and asset classes.
Governance changes included formalizing cadence for rate reviews and instrumenting approval gates for price overrides, aligning stakeholders in revenue, leasing, and asset management. RealPage YieldStar was used to get the right rent rate for every unit by maintaining optimal occupancy while capitalizing on revenue opportunities, and to improve asset performance as articulated in vendor guidance.
