Infor Legacy Infor SunSystems ERP Financial ERP n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, Verus Petroleum implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial system to centralize asset accounting and enterprise financial planning across the company. The deployment targeted core finance functions responsible for quarterly reforecasting, annual budgeting, capital expenditure control and joint venture accounting, with a specific emphasis on supporting asset-level volumes, income statement lines and capex planning. Infor SunSystems was configured to support asset accountant workflows and to transition existing accounts into a unified chart of accounts and reporting model. Key functional capabilities implemented included quarterly reforecasting for all assets covering volumes, income statement and capex, annual budgeting for all assets including the same planning dimensions, and formalization of the authority for authorizing expenditures through an AFE process. Operational usage extended to joint venture controls and regulatory submissions, the system was used to coordinate and manage joint venture audits when Verus acted as operator and to participate on behalf of the company for non-operated assets. The application also provided the transactional and reporting backbone for attending and participating in operator committee meetings and FinComs, and for coordinating submissions of information to government bodies such as DECC and O&G UK. Governance and workflow redesign accompanied the Infor SunSystems implementation, with the Asset Accountant role anchored to new system-driven processes for AFE coordination and adherence to delegation of authority. The implementation included transition of existing accounts into SunSystems and operational roll out across finance functions, embedding standardized budgeting, reforecasting and joint venture audit workflows into routine financial governance.

GoDaddy Legacy GoDaddy Application Hosting and Computing Services IaaS n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Verus Petroleum deployed GoDaddy to host and manage its corporate website, using GoDaddy within the Application Hosting and Computing Services category. The implementation focuses on vendor hosted web hosting and domain management, with configuration and administration carried out through GoDaddy control panel capabilities rather than on premise infrastructure. For a mid sized oil and gas firm, the deployment emphasizes streamlined site administration and domain provisioning for the company website. The GoDaddy deployment covers website content delivery and DNS management and is operated by internal IT or communications teams responsible for updates and configuration. The implementation leverages standard Application Hosting and Computing Services functions such as file based site hosting, bandwidth allocation, SSL certificate handling, and domain registration and renewal workflows to support external communications and marketing. No system integrator is listed and the scope is confined to the public web presence and associated domain services.
