FIS Global Legacy FIS GETPAID AR Automation ERP n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, Viavi Solutions deployed FIS GETPAID to centralize and standardize its global Accounts Receivable function. The implementation was positioned as an AR Automation initiative covering Credit, Collections, Invoicing, Cash Application, Reporting, and performance management for corporate finance. The FIS GETPAID deployment configured core modules for invoicing, automated cash application workflows, collections case management, credit control, and consolidated AR reporting. Configuration work focused on operational workflows for dispute handling, aging management, and centralized billing controls to support consolidation of receivables and consistent credit policies. Integrations were scoped and executed as part of a broader global systems rollout, with FIS GETPAID tied into Oracle upgrade projects and CreditRiskMonitor for credit information and risk assessment. The rollout also supported acquisition integrations, enabling newly acquired entities to be onboarded to the consolidated AR platform, and it was planned to feed an offshore Shared Services Center for centralized transaction processing. Governance and process changes accompanied the technical rollout, including centralized AR ownership, standardized reporting and performance management across regions, and a phased transition plan to offshore Shared Services Center operations. The program successfully managed acquisition integrations, planned and executed the transition to the offshore Shared Services Center, and completed the global systems rollout of GetPaid, Oracle upgrades, and CreditRiskMonitor.

Oracle Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Viavi Solutions implemented Oracle Cloud HCM to centralize Core HR and retire Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS deployments. The project encompassed employee and assignment data migration and targeted core HR, benefits, payroll and related HR data structures across the organization. The implementation configured Benefits constructs including Life Events, Eligibility Profiles, Programs, Plan Types, Options, Plans, Rates, Elements and Extracts for multiple vendors, and included authoring of benefits fast formulas for eligibility, person selection, coverage calculations, postselection edits, dependent eligibility and coverage and rate date logic. Functional design work covered Employment Model, Person Model, Job and Employment architecture, a three tier model, and a payroll flow template with payroll definitions, object groups, organization payment methods, payment types, fast formulas, third party payment methods, run types, balance definitions, element classification and payroll work areas. Data migration and integration work used Fusion HCM migration tooling including File Based Loader and HCM Data Loader to move employee, assignment, element and work structure records from Oracle EBS 11i into the Oracle Cloud HCM environment, and HCM Extracts were prepared for payroll and reporting needs. The team prepared functional specifications for custom fast formulas, reports and extracts and performed user interface functional testing and navigation demos to support Conference Room Pilots and business testing scenarios. Governance activities included FIT GAP analysis of out of the box functionality to identify required customizations and workarounds, facilitation of functional uptake discussions that assessed cross module impacts, preparation of functional design documents and review cycles, and signoff gathering from management and business users. Change management guidance, user guides and processing guides were prepared, while project planning covered estimations, budgeting, schedules and resource allocation to support execution within stated timeframes. The implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM served Viavi Solutions Core HR, Payroll and Benefits business functions, with explicit focus on configuration, formula development, migration and testing rather than on external system integrations beyond stated migration and extract processes.

Oracle Legacy Oracle OBIEE Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 Viavi Solutions implemented Oracle OBIEE as part of an Analytics and BI initiative focused on Finance. The engagement began in Phoenix, AZ in February 2019 and is described as a US and global Oracle R12 re-implementation effort that encompassed finance functional configuration and reporting modernization. The program upgraded transactional environments from Oracle 11i to Oracle R12.2.5 while modernizing reporting from BRIO to Oracle OBIEE. Finance functional modules were configured and business process redesign was led by a finance functional lead, including retrofit of existing CEMLI objects and the implementation of new design changes aligned to reengineered processes. Architecturally the implementation included a newly designed datawarehouse to align with Oracle R12 financial data structures, legacy data transformation and migration activities to populate that datawarehouse, and OBIEE as the Analytics and BI reporting layer consuming the warehouse and R12 financial feeds. Cutoff and data migration sequencing were executed in conjunction with system configuration to preserve transactional integrity during the transition. Governance and operational change centered on business process mapping with end customer requirements, managing enhancement requests for implemented automations, and coordinated analyze design and test cycles with technical support resources. Day to day functional issue resolution and problem solving were part of the operational responsibilities during rollout across Viavi Solutions manufacturing and shipping sites globally.
