In 2021, Victrex implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its ERP Financial solution, replacing Microsoft Dynamics AX. The implementation was targeted at consolidating core financial processes for the manufacturing organization and establishing a single enterprise financial ledger to support statutory and management reporting.
The deployment encompassed core financial modules typical of ERP Financial projects, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and cost accounting, with configuration work focused on manufacturing cost integration and statutory reporting workflows. Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations was configured to support period close orchestration and transaction-level financial controls consistent with corporate finance and procurement policies.
Systeam Solutions acted as the systems integrator for the program selection and delivery phases, following an RFP and partner evaluation led by an external D365 Programme Director. Contract negotiation activities were executed as part of the engagement, covering master service agreements, T&Cs and statement of work documents, and the Programme Director supported commercial terms and partner onboarding from July 2021 to May 2022.
Governance and delivery were structured around a developed internal delivery team that the Programme Director onboarded and trained, creating a retained capability for ongoing configuration and release management. The programme narrative centers on ERP Financial functional consolidation, partner selection and commercial governance, and internal capability building to sustain Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations operations.

In 2016 Victrex implemented SpiraLinks FocalReview to replace spreadsheet-based salary review processes and introduce a controlled Compensation Management solution for HR. SpiraLinks FocalReview was deployed to support compensation and performance management functionality, shifting salary letter generation, budgeting and multi-currency compensation reporting into a single application for the business function of HR.
The deployment used the SpiraLinks FocalReview application to automate core Compensation Management workflows, including automated salary letter production, centralized budgeting configuration, multi-currency reporting and approval workflow automation consistent with compensation lifecycle processes. Performance management capabilities were included alongside compensation controls to align pay decisions with documented performance inputs.
Operational coverage targeted HR across Victrex international sites, consolidating disparate spreadsheet processes into a standardized system of record for pay reviews and budget oversight. Governance changes focused on formalizing compensation review workflows and standardizing documentation for salary changes, with vendor communications noting the implementation in August 2016.
As stated in the implementation announcement, the move off spreadsheet-based processes reduced manual errors and improved budget controls, while providing HR with centralized Compensation Management and performance management functionality through SpiraLinks FocalReview.

| IFS | Legacy | IFS Ultimo EAM | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | MaxGrip | 2023 | 2024 |
In 2023, Victrex implemented IFS Ultimo EAM as part of its Maintenance Excellence Program. MaxGrip led the deployment of the IFS Ultimo EAM Enterprise Asset Management solution to support maintenance and engineering objectives, and to align asset performance with the company ESG and HSE targets.
The implementation followed a structured methodology that began with an Asset Improvement Mapping assessment and produced a strategic improvement roadmap, followed by blueprint, build and realisation, user acceptance testing and stabilise phases. Functional modules configured and activated included Asset Management, Master Data Management, Work Order Management, Preventive Maintenance, Stock and Purchase Management, Mobile usage and Reporting, with MaxGrip converting and importing master data and tailoring e learning and on site key user training.
During Build and Realisation Ultimo was integrated with other enterprise systems to enable procurement workflows, and the installation approach emphasized continuity so production was not disrupted. Operational coverage includes all five Victrex sites in the United Kingdom now running on Ultimo, with a site in China planned to follow, establishing a unified platform for asset oversight across locations.
Governance and process redesign were driven by the blueprint outcomes, which established a common data taxonomy, defined clear business processes and facilitated multidisciplinary workshops to standardise ways of working. The CMMS EAM workstream was executed as one of six improvement streams within the Maintenance Excellence Program, supported by change communication, stakeholder workshops and aftercare support to stabilise adoption.
Explicit outcomes reported from the deployment include enhanced decision making through dashboards and analytics in IFS Ultimo EAM, increased operational efficiency via streamlined work order management and inventory control, improved standardisation across sites and stronger user adoption from structured training. The implementation is positioned to support broader maintenance excellence goals, improving reliability and contributing to reductions in energy use and waste.
