| Oracle | Oracle E-Business Suite | Oracle Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018, Videojet Technologies Inc implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its primary finance system to centralize transactional finance processes, drawing the implementation into the ERP Financial category. The program migrated financial capabilities from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Cloud ERP and positioned the cloud application as the authoritative system for core financial operations across the enterprise.
The Oracle Cloud ERP deployment focused on standard ERP Financial functional modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management, with configuration and targeted enhancements to align with Videojet business processes. The implementation included automation of invoice and payment workflows and integration patterns typical of a cloud ERP rollout, and Oracle Cloud ERP was explicitly configured and extended to support established financial workflows.
Technical architecture emphasized integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP and existing systems, specifically the on-prem Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.3, and cloud applications used by Videojet such as Concur Expense, Workday HRMS, Esker for AP automation, and Evision EDI. Integrations were designed as point-to-point and orchestrated interfaces to support finance, procurement, accounts payable, expense processing, and EDI flows, maintaining transactional continuity across on-prem and cloud systems.
Governance and rollout were executed by a global IT team led by technical and solutions leads, managing onshore and offshore resources and a core team of approximately 10 associates. The program included SOX compliance controls with periodic self-audits, internal and external audits and workbook submissions, and was managed alongside over 50 supporting IT projects. The IT leadership reported delivering significant cost savings and productivity gains through optimized resource allocation and process improvements during the cloud migration.

| Workday | Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, Videojet Technologies Inc implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR application, transitioning from Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS to centralize human capital management across the product ID platform. The rollout covered 8 operating companies and a population of more than 8,000 global associates across 30 plus countries, aligning the Core HR system with multinational HR process needs and global security boundaries for Danaher Corporation operating companies.
The implementation focused on Workday HCM configuration for core workforce records, organizational structures, position and job frameworks, and workforce reporting. Project activities included extract, translate and load tasks to move master and transactional data from Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS into Workday HCM, and the use of Workday report writer to gather reporting requirements and build reports and dashboards for HR and business stakeholders.
Integrations were managed as a core operational responsibility, designing, testing and supporting data feeds between Workday HCM and other internal and external platforms, explicitly Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS, Active Directory, ADP PayForce, Concur and Salesforce. The integration scope encompassed identity and provisioning flows, payroll and benefits data exchanges, time and attendance and expense interfaces, and ongoing reconciliation processes to maintain data consistency across systems.
Governance and operational ownership included managing security models for eight operating companies within Danaher, leading integration of HR systems for merged and acquired entities, and executing data auditing, troubleshooting and issue resolution processes. The program also included training the HR team on Workday HCM and supporting systems such as Oracle and ADP PayForce, establishing operational runbooks and escalation paths for cross-system incidents and change control.
Parallel to the Workday HCM deployment, Videojet managed enhancements to the Oracle HR module by conceptualizing and implementing an integration of Active Directory with Oracle, and by identifying system process improvement opportunities to automate HR processes. These initiatives were positioned to reduce manual handoffs between identity, HR and payroll systems and to standardize end to end HR data flows across the operating companies.
