Configuration work focused on portability workflow automation and integration points required to ensure authoritative portability transactions and caller identity propagation across operator networks.
FPT Information System Corporation was engaged to deploy the solution and worked closely with iconectiv to integrate the TruNumber Portability Clearinghouse with national portability interfaces, operator clearing workflows, and numbering administration processes. Operational coverage targeted Vietnam’s mobile subscriber base, enabling portability interactions between mobile network operators without naming specific operator systems.
Governance and rollout were executed as a coordinated national program between the Vietnam Telecommunications Authority, FPT, and iconectiv, establishing operational procedures for portability processing and regulatory oversight. The deployment delivered additional convenience and choice to Vietnam’s 120 million plus mobile subscribers as stated by the project announcement.
