In 2018, Viewrail implemented Autodesk iLogic within Autodesk Inventor to create a custom stair generator for its floating stair systems in the United States. The project was executed inside the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) domain, using design automation to capture configurable geometry and manufacturing rules for complex stair assemblies.
The implementation embedded rules-based configuration and parameterized modeling into Inventor assemblies, enabling automated part generation, BOM updates, and drawing production as part of design automation workflows.
