The Restaurant365 Accounting deployment used a cloud-based architecture that centralized the general ledger, automated journal entries, and standardized bank reconciliation and accounts payable workflows. Core capabilities implemented included automated POS integrations feeding daily sales into Restaurant365 Accounting, an AP Center for invoice processing, Pay365 payroll and compliance tools, and configurable legal entity and accounting bases to support multi-entity franchise operations.
Integrations focused on POS connectivity and payroll orchestration, enabling a single sign-on operational model where legal entities and new stores could be provisioned on the cloud platform in weeks. Operational coverage extended to store managers, regional managers, and corporate accounting across multiple states, enabling The Walker Group to scale rapidly, add roughly 30 stores during an acquisition window, and operate a 40-location network across 11 states while maintaining centralized financial oversight.
Governance and process changes were part of the rollout, with manager training to drill into store P and Ls, weekly review cadences tied to Restaurant365 Accounting reports, and a shift from manual entry to automated, auditable journal flows.
