In 2019 VINASOLAR implemented ZKTeco uFace as a Time Clock (Hardware) solution. The deployment targeted factory entrance control and time and attendance for its manufacturing workforce in Vietnam, addressing approximately 6,000 staff.
The implementation used ZKTeco UFace602 facial recognition terminals paired with tripod turnstiles and iClock devices to capture biometric events at entry points. Functional capabilities included high volume biometric enrollment, automated attendance capture, identity verification for physical access, and local device level event logging. ZKTeco uFace terminals were configured to operate as the primary hardware layer for both access control and time logging.
Attendance and access records were integrated with the YONGYOU HR system to feed workforce attendance data into HR and payroll processes. The integration established a data pipeline from on premises terminals to the enterprise HR system, supporting factory floor shift management and timekeeping use cases across VINASOLAR manufacturing sites in Vietnam.
Project rollout emphasized staged employee registration and enrollment workflows to manage the high volume of users, with verification and device configuration practices aligned to manufacturing operations. The solution addressed automated attendance capture for about 6,000 employees, centralizing biometric attendance and entrance control through ZKTeco uFace and its peripheral devices.
