Sage Infor M3 Sage Business Cloud X3 (ex Sage ERP X3) ERP Financial ERP n/a 2018 2018
In 2018 VIP-Polymers Ltd went live on Sage Business Cloud X3, after a program that began with design activities in September 2017 and concluded with go-live in November 2018. The deployment implemented Sage Business Cloud X3 (ex Sage ERP X3) as the company ERP Financial backbone to align finance and operational processes with a single application instance. The implementation team drove functional design and configuration, delivering role-based functional education and configuring core finance and operational workflows. Configuration work focused on accounting structures, general ledger controls, accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, inventory costing and transactional posting rules consistent with ERP Financial application patterns, while adapting screens and transaction flows to VIP-Polymers Ltd business requirements. Data migration and integration work included transformation of legacy data from Movex Version 9 to Sage X3 PU11 and migration activities associated with the prior Infor M3 estate. The engagement covered master data mapping, cleansing and migration of transactional history into Sage Business Cloud X3, and alignment of chart of accounts and item masters to the new PU11 schema. Governance and rollout emphasized end user training, cutover planning and configuration validation across finance and operations functions. The program scope covered design through go-live, with functional education embedded into the rollout to support adoption and to stabilize ERP Financial processes after the November 2018 production start.
